A lot inspirated by my Arcanum character Lilith! She's a brilliant woman, a scientist who really loves to create useful things in order to compensate for her fragility, because she's always sick, and sneezing while fighting an orc is a bit deadly.

That is the BEST. UMBRELLA. EVER. *loves*

Man, Arcanum is pure win.

Yeah, umbrellas for the win! I'm glad you like my painting :) (and Arcanum too, hehe).

Arcanum is one of the best games of ALL TIME. It really hacks me off to think there's all these fanboys proclaiming that Halo is the be-all and end-all of video games when they haven't touched Arcanum. Or Baldur's Gate (the originals, mind you). Or indeed anything that required them to concentrate on anything that doesn't involve killing 1,000 aliens a minute. *grumble*

Don't make me fall in love with you... Please! :°
There are no more games as good as the old rpgs! Planescape: Torment was one of the best too. I really think it's sad that the beautiful graphics most of the modern games have seem to prevent them for having also a good storyline, an interesting universe and all that sort of things.

I've been trying to get my hands on a decent copy of Torment for YEARS. It just never seemed to make it down here. We didn't even get Arcanum until the 'Best Titles' line came out.

I'm just looking at my game collection. Two Dynasty Warriors games, Warriors Orochi for PSP, Guitar Hero for my DS, and EVERYTHING ELSE I OWN are classic RPGs and Final Fantasy. Whoa.

Torment is really, really, really hard to find, but it's worth it. My favorite game so far.
I have never tried any asian rpg, but my game collection is fuuuull of rpgs too, though I've got some other games like Warcraft 3, Impossible Creatures, etc.

Some Japanese RPGs kick serious arse, and some are just bad. Much like games from everywhere else in the world, really.

I do cherish my copy of Phantasy Star Portable, though. There's something ever so entertaining about playing a three foot tall chibi character who turns into a twelve foot tall monster every now and again.

I don't known, I never felt particularly attracted by these games, but I'm maybe wrong! Still... I've got enough must-find-must-buy games on my list for the moment :p.

TELL me about it. I just don't have the money for all the games I want right now, plus some of them are either still in development or being translated... *sigh*
