City of Torvane (wip)

So hu, Torvane is a city I'm developing for my underground (underground-underground, not hipster-ish) fantasy setting thing for tabletop rpg, the Creuseterre (Hollowearth ?). The civilized world is mainly dwarven city-states, and Torvane is the biggest of them all, both magnificent and the greatest slum of the whole area. It's based around (and over, and under) Lake Torvane, the largest body of water of the known world.
Well I don't know how to paint landscapes, seriously! It's a fun exercise, but I'm sorry, it's really messy right now. But it sure is different from monsters and lazy portraits! I'm hoping for critiques, if anybody is interested. Just keep in mind it's not finished.
So many shades of brown and grey! Feels just like a modern-day shooter.
